beach at Langkasuka Beach Resort, our sister resort, which is only 5 minutes
away.
Recreational facilities at our sister resort are also available to guests of
Hotel Helang and include seasports, tours and cruises, fishing and more.

For your conference and meeting requirements, we have 3 function rooms, 1 of
which can be further converted to 3 break-out rooms. Our conference room can
accommodate up to 200 people (theatre style). Wel offer excellent facilities for

Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre
Located a stone throw away from Hotel Helang and Langkasuka Beach Resort, MIEC
is the home of the world-famous LANGKAWI INTERNATIONAL MARITIME AND AEROSPACE
EXHIBITION (LIMA MIEC is the largest exhibition and convention facility in
Langkawi with an area of approximately 71,400 square meters. Suitable for
conventions and exhibitions catering up to 3000 participants. Pre-function
rooms, lounge rooms and VIP suites are part of the facilities available at MIEC.

Getting There
By Air : Direct flights to and from Kuala Lumpur (55 minutes), Penang
(35 minutes) and Singapore (1 hour 30 minutes) are operated daily by Malaysia
Airlines, AirAsia and Silk Air. Langkawi International Airport is just 1 km
away.
By Sea : Air-conditioned ferries operate daily to and from Kuala Kedah
(75 minutes), Kuala Perlis (45 minutes), Penang (2 hours 30 mins) and Satun,
Thailand (1 hour).
By Road : Using the North-South Highway, Kuala Lumpur is 475 km
(approximately. 5 hours) to Kuala Kedah and 500 kms (approximately 5 hours 30
minutes) to Kuala Perlis . Connection from Kuala Kedah or Kuala Perlis to
Langkawi will be by air-conditioned ferries.
Getting Around : Taxis are available and charged according to
destination. Vans, cars, motorbike and bicycles can be rented from the tour desk
situated at the lobby.
